The Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland exist off of I-40 and U.S. 64 just west of Fort Smith, AR. This was the original Cherokee Nation’s first resort casino. It started out in 1990 as an old Bingo hall that was converted into a casino. The main attractions to the casino are the Poker and Blackjack rooms.
There are also several tables for Craps, the slot machines and the table games such as Roulette, Baccarat and Horseshoe. The casino is divided into seven different sections, which are the lobby, banquet hall, the kitchen, the gaming floors, the reception and the living quarters. There is a total of 170,000 square feet of space for the Cherokee casino and hotel to be filled. This is made up of thirty-five rooms that are each separated by a wide open layout.
The Cherokee casino and hotel roland are only three blocks from the famous Monogram restaurant and bar in downtown Pine Bluffs, New Orleans along with the Holiday Inn Express and the Holiday Inn by the Bay. You can get around the city easily by taking the charter bus or if you have a car, hire a taxi. Other attractions include the Big Easy Rock concert stage, the Paradise Bowl, the Superdome and the Southern Jazz Festival. There is also a lot of shopping to do in the area, including The Mall of Louisiana, The Mall of New Orleans, Circle Coven, The Gas Pump and many other attractions.
